Infosys has added a dozen new members to its top management.The executive council now consists of 30 new members.As the employee morale is quite low these days because of the rising attrition levels in Infosys(India's largest software exporter).All the members of the council are entitled for a yearly allowance of $150000 yearly.
Shriram subramaniam was of the view that Infosys is under pressure to reward it's top performers and most of the members are on the list with a long list of contributions are still waiting for promotions.
In the recent months,infosys has seen a number of its employees making exits to join various other organisations.
Basab Pradhan global sales head infosys resigned in July this fiscal.Its global head of manufacturing and head of america Mr. Ashok Vemuri joined its arch rival i.Gate.Head of financial services U.S Sudhir chaturvedi joined mid sized arc rival NIIT Technologies in august.
Overall too the attrition rates have spiked to 17%.
Mr. Narayana Murthy has made it clear that rewarding consistent performers is his top priority. He has announced a surprise pay hike,and has also set aside rs 150 crores for Diwali bonus.
